Membership Signup Instructions

Here are instructions on how to become a member of the National Association of Rocketry. To begin, click on the Join the NAR menu tab.

You will be taken to the member signup screen, click on the Join the NAR button.

Step 1

Choose the Membership Type <Select> that applies to you.

Here is a description of the NAR Membership Types.

To make the membership renewal process easier, simply click the Enroll in Automatic Renewal toggle. This will renew your NAR membership for up to three years.

Step 2

Review the Terms of Use and Privacy. To continue with your membership, click I Agree.

Step 3

Completely fill out your membership information.

Step 4

Fill out the details of your membership. Members are encouraged to receive the eRocketeer. If you are a teacher, you are encouraged to receive the Educator's Newsletter.

If you are a rocket competitor, you can assign your contest points to a NAR section. You are able to choose that section here.

Step 5

Step 5 allows you to connect with your local club. Click the Add Club icon and choose the club you would like to be associated with. In this case, we chose the Cloudbusters, out of Colorado.

Step 6

We are almost there! Step 6 allows you to create your own unique User Name and Password.

Step 7

Membership Types have different membership benefits. If you are a Junior or Young Adult member, you can purchase a physical membership card and Sport Rocketry magazine at an additional fee. In Step 1, you chose your membership type. All Senior and Life members receive Sport Rocketry magazine and a physical membership card, there is no need to purchase them. If you are a Junior, Young Adult, or Foreign member, you will need to add Sport Rocketry and/or a physical membership card at an additional fee.

Step 8

Read and approve the National Association of Rocketry Member Agreement.

Step 9

If you choose to pay later, you will receive multiple emails to arrange payment. Your membership in the National Association of Rocketry is not active until payment is received. You will not be able to access the online member benefits until payment is made.

To pay for your membership, click on the Payment Method <Select Payment Method>. Fill in your payment information.

Congratulations! You have completed your application to become a member of the National Association of Rocketry!
